Titus 2: 3-5: The older women…that they be reverent in behavior, not slanders, not given to much wine, teachers of good things, that they admonish the young women to love their husbands, to love their children, to be discreet, chaste, homemakers, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be blasphemed.
In this world today many people are deceived and led astray by every wind and doctrine. (Gee, isn’t that Scripture)? One such area of great confusion and deception is the gender question. Am I a boy or a girl? Men are wanting to become women and women are wanting to become men.
Today I’m talking to women. Ladies, do not despise your womanhood. It is awesome to be a female. God has great plans for His daughters. He loves us. We were created second, but we weren’t an afterthought, God always has a plan. He created Adam and announced that it isn’t good for man to be alone, so He created Eve. We were created as a solution to a problem.
There is a great spirit of deception over our whole world at this time. I know we don’t like to think of things like evil spirits and demonic activity, but they are real, and ignoring them will not make them nonexistent. This is happening because time as we know it is winding down. We are in the last moments of the last days. We are seeing a great falling away in churches, but on the other hand we are seeing great yearning for truth from people.
God created us, each of us, male and female, for a purpose. Procreation is one of the main purposes. A man who becomes a woman cannot give birth. Never. Ladies, only we can do that. Only we can nurture and love children with that mother’s touch. We are the ones who make the home a cozy and welcoming place. Yes, some men can decorate, but they lack that certain something which God put into us, the ability to make a house a home
We are the ones who can comfort a friend in a time of despair. We are the ones the kids run to when they scrape their knees. We are the ones who can reassure our husbands of their value when their career is getting them down.
We are the nurses, doctors, airline flight attendants and pilots. We are the law enforcement officers that serve alongside the men. We are the stay- at- home moms who take care of the family. We are more gifted in learning a language, and have an easier time sharing the gospel one on one.
When I first started in ministry I didn’t want to be around the women. I didn’t like women very much. I felt them to be catty and snippy, snooty and prideful. So, God being God, called me to minister to women. I even questioned Him about this. God has a wonderful sense of humor, He not only called me to minister to women, He taught me to love them. I simply adore God’s daughters. When I began to see how valuable we are to Him, I began to love and admire this marvelous creation of womanhood.
So, next time you see a woman who gets on your nerves, take a long look at her, find something beautiful about her, because it’s there, and then ask yourself, “Who’s that lady?” That lady my friend is a daughter of the Most- High God, and she is highly treasured by Him. Until next time!
