I Corinthians 14: 33: For God is not a God of confusion but of peace, as in all the churches of the saints.
Do you ever feel as if life is knocking you around first one way and then the other, as if you are on a Merry-Go-Round and can’t find a way to stop and get off? Remember that little silver ball in the pinball machine? The flapper smacked it one way and suddenly smack, it’s off in another direction.
Life at times can throw a lot of little flappers in our path. We think we can accomplish this certain thing, but then we realize there is an obstacle in our way that forces us to change directions. If this continues long enough, we begin to feel like we are no longer in control but at the mercy of whatever comes down the pike.
God doesn’t want us to live that way. He has a plan for our life to be successful and filled with peace.
John 14: 27: Peace I leave with you, my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.
Words a woman never likes to hear, especially from her husband is, “Now, calm down.” But the truth of the matter is, when our life is full of chaos, the first thing we need to do is calm down, and talk to God. Take a few deep breaths, and talk to your heavenly Father. He will lead and guide you to the path of peace and prosperity. I’m not just talking about money, but health, joy, happiness and life more abundantly. Until next time!
