Women of a New Season: Are spells being cast at you by the enemy?

Galatians 3: 1: Oh, foolish Galatians! Who has cast an evil spell on you?  For the meaning of Jesus Christ’s death was made as clear to you as if you had seen a picture of his death on the cross.
Micah 5: 12: I will destroy your witchcraft and you will no longer cast spells.
We are living in pretty rough times. We aren’t heading toward the end times; we are in the very end of the end times.  Bible prophecy and the daily news are aligning in an astonishing manner. The first Scripture I used in Galatians, was Paul asking the churches in Galatia who had cast a spell upon them that they would suddenly disbelieve the truth of the Gospel, that Salvation is by Faith, not works. They were being taken in by false teaching.  That’s one spell the evil one will try to cast in your direction.  Read your Bible.  Knowing the truth is protection from this sort of attack.
God has no sympathy for such evil doers. He wants us to know Him through His word so that we won’t be caught unaware. We need to study the Bible on our own.  We need to take it to church.
Micah was a prophet with a burden for the poor who were being abused by the rich and influential.  He freely rebuked those who used their social or political power to reap personal gain.  Gee, sounds like today doesn’t it? But, it says the witchcraft they are practicing and spells they are casting will be destroyed. Witchcraft isn’t just a woman in a black outfit with a staff in her hand and a pointy hat. (Although I’ve met up with that), but witchcraft is simply the art of manipulation. Sexual predators use manipulation of fear and threats to control their victims.  I’m sure you can think of other things that could be construed as evil manipulation. It’s witchcraft.
The Bible tells us that in the last days people will be without self-control, despisers of good.  There is a whole list of these evil doers to read about in II Timothy 3: 1-8.  It says they have a form of godliness but deny His power.
II Timothy 3: 6: For of this sort are those who creep into households and make captives of gullible women, who are loaded down with sins and led away by various lusts.
It says they make captive silly women. I’m talking to women in this column, but this can apply to men just as easily. These are those who are prime targets for the spell of witchcraft.  Silly, gullible, those who don’t know God’s word, those who are loaded down with sin. Having affairs, drinking, doing drugs, abusing their kids, cheating at work. They have numerable lusts.  Perhaps lust for money, or sexual pleasure, or power.  Once you give in you can be lost for eternity unless you repent and turn from your evil ways.
Please listen to me.  If you are born-again, a faithful follower of Christ, who strives daily to live in a manner pleasing to God, no spell can touch you.  For greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world. I John 4:4.
I John 5: 18: We know that anyone born of God does not continue to sin; the ONE who was born of God keeps them safe and the evil one cannot harm them.
So, if you are saved you have nothing to fear. Any spells that may come at you will be rendered null and void by our Lord. Read the Word, for it contains life.  Until next time!
