Woman of the Most High God “Who do you put your trust in?”

My hope is built on nothing less than Jesus’s blood and righteousness. Jesus is the only one we can put our trust in. Some of you put your trust in your homes, family, and your jobs. Look at the situation our country is in now. Nothing is for sure, only Jesus.

Unemployment is higher than it ever has been before. The price of food has skyrocketed, along with cleaning supplies. Some people no longer have jobs. Businesses are closing down because of the effects of this virus. The government is in trouble, putting out all kinds of money to help the economy. But how long will the money last?

We need to trust in him. There is no want in him. Read Psalm 23. It tells us who Jesus really is. Worry is not of God. Jesus wants us to live in peace. Don’t put your trust in material things, only Jesus. I would not want to live my life without Jesus. He’s my bread when I’m hungry. He’s my water when I’m thirsty. I have no want in him. He supplies my every need. I can lay down at night and know he is watching over me, and that no harm will come to me.

Tis so sweet to trust in Jesus, just to take him at his word. I know I can trust him with my life. Who can you trust in and know they will come through for you? Think about it for a moment. It’s not your job or your family. All of them can be taken away from you in a moment of time. Then what? This country is a mess, but Jesus can and will clean up this mess. If only we ask him to and be obedient to him and do what we are supposed to do.

Jesus is my everything. He is my all. He gave his life for me and made me everything new. He is my everything, but how about you? I know he will take care of me through all that is going on around me. I’m his child, and I know he cares for me. That’s why I can cry Abbe, Father. He is my heavenly father.

Think about it. Who or what can you put your trust in? Church, you are supposed to be the light of the world. We can’t hide our light under a bushel. We must let it shine. Souls are what it’s really about. What are we doing to give peace to the people and tell them about Jesus, about someone they can put their trust in. They can put their trust in him, and he will never fail them. He’s never failed me.

Yours in Christ Jesus
