How do you know someone really believes in God? It’s how he or she lives their lives every day. Are they different from the worldly people? Do they take the same? Do they continue to live the same way they always lived? Is there something different from other people?
We are to be different from the world. Jesus tells us to come out from among them and be separate saith the Lord (II Cor 6:17). In Mark 16:17-18 it tells us what signs shall follow the believers. In Jesus they call cause out devils, speak with new tongues. They shall take up serpents and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them. They shall lay hands on the sick and they shall recover. Acts 5:16, Act 8:7, Luke 10:19, Acts 3:16 and Mark 16:20 all tell of signs following the believers, confirming the word of God.
Are we as believers praying a serious prayer life? Are we studying God’s word like we should? Timothy tells us to study to show ourselves as a workman that needeth not to be ashamed. Rightly dividing the word of truth. Are we living the holy life Christ has called us to, so that these signs can follow us?
People are watching our lives. What are they seeing? What do they see as Godly characteristics or as worldly characteristics? We are not perfect, just forgiven. No one can serve two masters. We must serve one or the other, either God or the devil.
Do you desire to see the Holy Ghost pour his spirit upon us? Seeing people healed, delivered from drugs and alcohol. Seeing the gift of the spirit move within us, being used in us. Prophecy, word of knowledge, exhorting one another. Building up the church.
Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever. Are you hungry for a mighty move of God in your life? You can have these signs follow you if only you follow God. The signs will only follow the believers. Yes, the signs will follow us if we live a Godly and Holy life. I want these signs in my life, so that others will see and believe that our God is what He says He is and will do what He says He will do.
Are these signs following your life? Tell it to Jesus, and he will help you.
Yours in Christ Jesus,
