Woman of the Most High God: Jesus wants to give you rest

God’s people seem to be so restless. Jesus tells us that his yoke is easy, and his burden is light. People have allowed the cares of this life to overtake them. Don’t grow weary in well doing and Christ shall strengthen thy heart. We shall reap if we faint not Galatians 6:9.

Isaiah 40:29 tells us that he gives power to the faint who have no might but increases strength of the weak. Isaiah 40:31 says that those that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. They shall mount up with wings like eagles. They shall walk and not faint. They shall run and not grow weary.

Our strength is found in Jesus, not in ourselves. We can lean on the everlasting arms that will not fail us. Jesus will never fail us. He will never leave nor forsake us. Jesus bids us come to him when the cares of this life surround us. He will give your rest.

Jesus will keep those in perfect peace whose mind is stayed upon the Lord. How many restless nights have you had? Do you have trouble sleeping at night? You can’t sleep because of all the cares of life that keep you awake at night.

Jesus wants to give you rest period he tells us to cast all of our cares on him because he cares for us. The joy of the Lord is your strength. The Bible tells us that we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us. new line Jesus knows all about you. Take your burdens and leave them there. Don’t pick them back up. Leave them at Jesus feet. Weeping endures for the night but joy cometh in the morning.

Church, morning is coming. Be of good courage and he shall strengthen your heart. Trust in him today. He really wants to give you rest.

Yours in Christ Jesus,

Rev. Teresa Reid
