Why do we celebrate Memorial Day? We give honor to the men and women who have fought for our freedom. They gave their lives. They left behind their families, even babies that they didn’t get to see them be born. We honor them today. They are what makes us proud to say we are an American.
Our country was founded upon the principles of the Bible; one nation, under God. May God bless America again. We live in a blessed land. As a nation we truly are blessed. We need to pray for the men and women who are fighting that we may remain free, and to thank the good Lord that he is watching over us and keeping us safe.
We have food and raiment, houses to live in. Other countries aren’t as blessed as we are. Ole Glory still flies high. The price of war is high price to pay for people’s lives. Don’t take for granted your freedoms you enjoy every day. It comes at a high cost, a lot of bloodshed.
As we remember our veterans, we must also remember the one who gave his life for us on Mount Calvary. He gave his life so that we could be free and live in the freedom we have today. We are truly a blessed nation. We pause to say thank you for making the sacrifice for us. We can lay down and sleep in peace.
Our flags are very precious to us. Some burn the flag, but our flag is to be respected. Let Ole Glory fly high. A lot of blood has been shed for our freedom. Let’s not take it for granted. America the beautiful. We must see all the hearts in our flag and our country. We live in the land of the free and home of the brave. We are blessed to live in America.
We must pray for our country and let the veterans know we appreciate them, always putting Jesus Christ first in our lives. Let freedom ring! Again, God bless America! Americans, we need to turn back to Jesus. Without him, we wouldn’t be free. To you and yours, Happy Memorial Day! Keep this day as a reminder of what a privilege we have; One nation, under God and to be called an American.
Yours in Christ Jesus,
