Woman of the Most High God: “Do you know who Jesus is?,

Jesus is a part of the trinity; the father, the son (Jesus) and the Holy Ghost. He has always been here. We needed a Savior. We were sinners and there was no way we could go to heaven. Jesus had no sin of his own. He was willing to be our sacrifice. He had no place to lay his head. He was born in a stable, a dirty, stinky stable. He was willing to die for you and me. He knew what kind of death he would have to die, but he was willing. There was no other way that we could be saved.

John 3:16 tells us, “For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believeth in him shall not perish but have everlasting life.” He was a carpenter by trade. Jesus was laughed at and beaten with a whip. A crown of thorns was pushed on his head. His side was riven. All of this was endured for you and me. He even said, “Father forgive them, they know not what they are doing.”

He came to die for us. He arose in three days, just like he said he would. He has gone away to prepare a place for us. He’s coming back to take us to live with him forever. Jesus came to do the will of his Father. He paid a debt that he didn’t owe. I owed a debt I couldn’t pay. He loves us that much. He gave up all the beauty of heaven for you and me.

Christmas is the day that we set aside to celebrate his birthday. He was wrapped in swaddling clothes and was laid in a manger. Jesus always went about doing good. He healed the sick, he raised the dead and set the captive free.

Do you know who Jesus is? Do you know him as the savior of the world? It’s not enough to know him, you must know him as he is. Our redeemer and soon coming king. When Jesus was on the cross, I was on his mind. He continues to prove his love or us. He’s more than just a man, he’s the Savior of my life, my healer.

Jesus is coming back as King of Kings, Lord of Lords, and we will live with him forever. He’s not the man upstairs. He’s not just a swear word. He’s our only hope. If you don’t know him as your savior, come to him today. He won’t turn you away. Come just as you are. Call upon him today. Whosoever will call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Get to know this man called Jesus. It’s the best thing you will ever do with your life.

Yours in Christ Jesus
