Woman of the Most High God: Be of good courage and God will strengthen your heart

We look around us and we see trouble in every hand. Heartaches are all around us. We are surely living in the last days. Jesus said we would have heartaches even sickness and death.

God is no respecter of persons. He causes it to rain on the just and the unjust. But through it all he will never leave or forsake us.

He was with Daniel in the lion’s den. He was with David when he came up against Goliath. He was also with the Hebrew children in the fiery furnace. He was with the children of Israel when they went through the wilderness for 40 years. It should have only taken 11 days for that trip. God didn’t fail these people, and he isn’t going to let us down either.

We need to look to the things of God. The good things he’s done for us each day. Look to the hills from which cometh our help. It comes from the Lord who makes us what we are to encourage ourselves in the Lord, by singing and making melody to the Lord.

Life isn’t easy, but he is a very present help in time of our need. The Bible tells us that he hasn’t seen the righteous forsake or his seed begging bread. God will take care of his children.

As we see the day approaching, we need to assemble ourselves with the body of Christ. Yes, find yourself in church. No man is an island, and no man stands alone. We need one another. You need people who can pray with you and where you can hear the word of God.

The joy of the Lord is your strength. We all need fellowship of one another period the Bible tells us that we can do all things through Christ that strengthens us. Greater is he that is in me than he that is in the world.

The Bible is not ours; it belongs to Jesus. Don’t lose hope. Cast your cares on Jesus. Heaven will be worth it all. All of these troubles will be over when we make it to heaven. I can hardly wait, but I will occupy until he comes.

There is still a lot of work that needs to be done before Jesus comes to get his church. Souls need to be brought into the fold. Work for the night is coming when no man shall work.

Yours in Christ Jesus,

Rev. Teresa Reid
