We are certainly living in a time we have never lived in before. This virus has caused people to panic and to be afraid. The bible tells us to trust in the Lord with all of our might. And he in turn will bring us through these troubled times. Yes, the economy is not as strong as it used to be, and the stock market is plunging. Grocery store shelves are often found empty. This we take for granted every day like toilet paper, paper towels, drinking water, cleaning supplies, are gone. We need to use our wisdom. God will take care of his own. He has never failed us and he won’t do it now. He can’t!
Things like these sometimes bring out the worst in people, especially Christians. Things that are coming out of their mouths are ungodly. Then you wonder why people that are not saved don’t want any part of them. What is in the heart comes out of the mouth. People are dying all over this world from this virus. Both young and old, and middle aged. Age doesn’t have the respect of this virus. Our government has never had to deal with something with such a big structure. It’s become an epidemic. Never before have we heard and seen so many news reports and updates. Daily we hear them and newspapers are full of them. School cancellations, businesses shutdown, people working from home, people losing their jobs. God is our only hope. God really does have things in control. He created the universe. Humans don;t always see it that way. That’s why God is God. And there is no greater one than he! Graduations uncertain, school openings uncertain, things returning to normal. We must trust in the only one that can help us. We must trust in Jesus. He is our only hope. Life as we have known it is not the same. Churches are closed, businesses closed, factories are closing, and hospitals are closing now. We live in a time like we have never known before. Believers, we really need to pray. We need to seek God’s will. Fear is not from God. Fear is False Evidence Appearing as Real!
It’s not time to play the blame game. We need to find a solution for the problem. The bible tells us that Jesus will keep us in perfect peace whose mind is stayed upon the Lord. He tells us to cast all of our cares upon him because he cares for us. We as Christians need to spend time praying and reading God’s word. Studying his word and hiding it in our hearts. This is no surprise to God. He knows all and he sees all. He is still in control. Trust in him.
Yours in Christ Jesus,
