Woman of the Most High God: Are you homesick for heaven?

I think about the song this week, I’ve never been this homesick for heaven. And, I’ve got leaving on my mind. I feel out of place many times lately, because this world is not my home. I’m just passing through. I dream many nights about heaven and what it really will be like. In the dreams it is more beautiful than I can describe. These dreams make me now ready to go to my heavenly home.
Are you trying to win souls for Jesus? What about your family? Your neighbors? We want to take other people with us. We don’t want to go empty handed. But the main question is: is Jesus your personal savior? Do you know him as Lord of your life? Are you trying to live a holy life? You cannot do it on your own, you need Jesus. Do you have a Christ like spirit?
I would never want to do anything that would cause me to miss heaven. I’ve got too much to gain to lose. I have loved one that I want to see again. I have a husband there. But I want to see Jesus most of all. Yes, I want to talk on streets of pure gold. See the walls of jasper, gates of pearl. But they don’t mean anything without Jesus and seeing out departed loved ones. How beautiful heaven must be.
I wouldn’t trade any of the dreams I’ve had about heaven in the last few weeks. Yes, I’, longing for home, but I will occiput and preach his word as long as I’m still in this fleshly body. But I know that it won’t be long before he comes again. He tells me that he is coming soon. Oh, how I want to see him, look upon his face. To sing and praise him forever.
Don’t miss heaven. Not everyone says, “Lord, Lord will enter in.” Only the blood washed. Being good won’t get you to heaven. Your wealth won’t either. Only the blood of Christ will get you in. If you aren’t ready to make heaven your home, please accept Jesus Christ as your savior today.
Christians, we must work as hard as we can for Jesus while we have time. Work, for the night is coming, and no one shall work. God can’t use lazy Christians. We must be about our father’s business, just as Christ was. Get ready he is coming soon. That trumpet could sound any day. Will you be ready?
Yours in Christ Jesus,
Teresa Reid
