William “Bill” Glenn Jenkins, 47, of Wilson Ridge, passed away Friday, February 1, 2019, at Mon Health Medical Center.
He was born in Morgantown, April 12, 1971, a son of the late James Robert “Big Jim” and Minnie Pearl Watkins Jenkins.
Bill graduate from Grafton High School with the Class of 1990. He was a bartender for over twenty years at Lady Godiva’s, in Morgantown. His hobbies were fishing, hunting, playing video games, and he was a huge fan of the Dallas Cowboys and especially the cheerleaders. He loved being with his nieces and his four-legged companions.
He is survived by three brothers, Robert Jackson Jenkins, Mark Knotts and James Snyder, all of Grafton; two nieces, Kayla Snyder and Danielle Snyder; three great-nieces, Nevaeh Snyder, Nicholas James Snyder, Lillian Grace Skiles; a very special friend, Fannie; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Friends will be received at Bartlett Funeral Home, 202 McGraw Ave. on Thursday, February 7, 2019, from 3:00-8:00 p.m., and on Friday, February 8, 2019, from 9:00 a.m, until the funeral hour at 11:00 a.m., with Evangelist Bobby Jennings and Pastor Bert Coffman officiating.
Interment will follow at the Jenkins Family Cemetery.
