Taylor County as a Positive Tourist Destination

We recently had a travel influencer, @EastCoastContessa, and her father and photographer, visit Mountaineer Country. She made stops at Espresso Yourself for breakfast and a picnic lunch to go and then headed to Tygart Lake to spend the day exploring Tygart Adventures and soaking up the sun on the beach area. While in Taylor County, she had the best time and had nothing but good things to say about the area, its beauty, and the fun she had. We cannot thank our Taylor County partners enough for making her experience such a pleasant and memorable one.

We encourage all Taylor County businesses and locals to embrace visitors, make them feel welcome, and ensure that they have a great experience while exploring our destination. Word of mouth is a powerful, and free, marketing strategy, and the whole area benefits from people sharing their positive experiences here. With great tourist attractions here such as Tygart Lake and the Tygart River, there are several opportunities to draw guests to Taylor County, and it is essential that we are proactive in welcoming them.

If you are interested in staying in the know when groups and influencers will be visiting Mountaineer Country, join the Visit Mountaineer Country Hospitality Facebook group by searching “Visit Mountaineer Country Hospitality.” Together, we can provide positive, memorable guest experiences and spread the word that Mountaineer Country and Taylor County are the place to be!
