Zombie Walk at Gallery 62 West | Oct. 1 at dusk
Join Gallery 62 West for their first Zombie Walk! Prizes will be awarded for the best costumes/makeup. There will also be a $50 prize, awarded on Halloween, for the best mask(s) worn throughout the month of October. Masks are required inside the gallery, but they can be as creepy as you would like (just cover your nose and mouth)!
Haunted Appalachia at Gallery 62 West | Oct. 1, 11 a.m.
You’re invited to a haunting by artist Diane C. Parker! Gallery 62 West in Grafton is proud to present Haunted Appalachia — a collection of original paintings, sculptures, mixed media, jewelry, amulets and talismans sure to occupy your dreams. The exhibit will run Oct. 1 through Nov. 7 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Taylor County Walk for Women at Gallery 62 West | Oct. 9, 10 a.m.
The annual Taylor County Walk for Women is sponsored by the Planned Approach to Community Health Coalition of Taylor County. The goal is to raise funds for the WV Breast & Cervical Cancer Screening Program/WV Diagnostic & Treatment Fund. Registration begins at 10 a.m. at Gallery 62 West in Downtown Grafton. The Walk will start at 11 a.m. and there will be a speaker around noon. T-shirts are available for a donation of $20 and several items to be raffled.
