GRAFTON—The Grafton Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3081 Auxiliary will be hosting a special event that is aimed at helping military families in their time of need.
Join the ladies of the auxiliary as they serve up a carry out hot dog sale, complete with all the fixings on Tuesday, September 29, from 11:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
Make your way to the post home, located at 225 West Main Street, Grafton, to pick up dinner for you and your loved ones. The auxiliary will be offering two hotdogs, served with chips and cookies.
The food will be available for carry out only, as the members of VFW Post 3081 work to continue their fight against the Coronavirus disease through their commitment to social distancing.
Individuals can purchase meals for just $6 each, and the money raised will be used to benefit programs for veterans, including two major programs that are the focus of the local post.
Since its inception in 1914, the VFW Auxiliary has worked tirelessly to offer financial and moral support to those who need it most, so head down to the VFW 3081 Post Home on Saturday, September 5, to grab a tasty meal and help them further their work.
“Buying these meals will help veterans and their families, so you surely don’t want to miss out,” expressed Thompson.
