GRAFTON—The Bearcub football organization is still seeking players for the 2021 season for a couple of their teams, and time is running out to take advantage of the opportunity.
According to Taylor County Youth Football coaches, there are still spots needing to be filled on the eldest team, the Midget program, which is compiled of those ranging in age from ten to 12-years-old.
The youngest group is also looking for members to complete their roster and is accepting applicants ages six and seven.
In addition, there is one coveted slot open on the Peewee team for those ages eight to ten.
“This is a good opportunity to learn football, get some real playing time, exercise, make friends and prepare for the next level,” commented coach Rick Glaspell.
Taylor County Youth Football introduces young aspiring football player to the basics of the game and teaches them proper techniques to keep themselves and their fellow teammates safe, all while enjoying the game and having fun.
