GRAFTON— Surrounded by family, friends, fellow teammates and coaches, three Grafton High School seniors took another step toward their futures last week, signing letters of intent to play sports at the college level.
Cameron Forte, has played many sports throughout this athletic career including, baseball, soccer and football. Although he has a strong love for soccer, it was football that would win his college years.
This fall, Forte will be suiting up as a Fairmont State University Falcon, with hopes of being a punter for the team.
Cassie Dewlawder will be joining Forte at Fairmont State this fall, as a Lady Falcon soccer player.
Dewlawder has played soccer for most of her life and is a four-year letter winner at GHS. She shared that she plans to condition hard, and prepare herself for the talent that comes with college level soccer.
Fellow classmate Morgan Loomis, will be following her family ties to Wilmington College in Ohio, to continue her volleyball career.
Loomis is hoping to play as middle hitter for the Fighting Quakers, and looks forward to competing on a college level.
