MORGANTOWN—The Gators traveled to Krepps Pool in Morgantown last Tues evening to take on Morgantown United Aquatics Club (MUAC).  The pool deck was filled by several Gators parents, swimmers and fans.

“It was nice to see so many people make the trip to Morgantown to support the kids,” said head coach Todd England. “We were not able to get you individual results for each swimmer because MUAC does not use the automated “Meet Manager” computer application.  The MUAC team had double the amount of swimmers, but our kids were still very competitive,” England added.

The final scores saw the Gator Boys coming up a little short 116 to MUAC’s 128.  The Gator Girls finished with a score of 142 to MUAC’s 194.  The final team score was MUAC: 322, Gators: 258.

The Gators returned home later in the week to host the Clarksburg Swim Team. The meet was held at the Fetterman Pool and once again the pool deck was packed.

The Gators were out numbered again, but they were still able to put points on the board. The Gator girls lost 156 to 123 while the boys lost 172 to 72. In team competition, the Gators fell 426 to 266.

In individual and relay competition the following swimmers finished in first place: Gabriel Young, Noah Uhl, Brooklyn Haddix, Jonathon Maier, Nattalie Satterfield, Jocleyn Countryman, Haleigh Cook, Payton England, Issac Young, Jocelynn Annon, Levi Miller, Alyssa Jackson, Leah Jackson, Harrison Maier, Luke Nibert, Jaxon Halbritter, Jerra Halbritter, Kayla Mitchell-Bryne, Kevie Sipes, Riley Countryman, Bella Lemon, Maggie Brake, Zach Nibert, Gage Reed, Blaise Nibert, Calvin Wise and Jay Parker.

The Gators will be back in action this Tuesday at home against Barbour County and on Thursday at home against Morgantown.
