GRAFTON— Dragon’s Den Mixed Martial Arts will be holding a special “Parents Night Out”(PNO) event on Saturday, February 25, from 4-7 p.m., at 2 West Main Street, in downtown, Grafton.
Eric Swick, owner and operator of Dragon’s Den, revealed that he holds a PNO event every several months, and this month it will be in the form of a Nerf War.
“So far, the kids are really excited about it. I think it is one of our most popular events,” commented Swick.
The cost to participate will be $15, and includes a healthy snack. Swick shared that students of Dragon’s Den are permitted to bring a friend at no cost.
“It is just going to be a blast,” exclaimed Swick. “We will have several Nerf games set up, such as, target shooting, zombie shooting and capture the flag.”
Swick explained that the event is geared for children ages four and up, and all attendees will need to bring their own Nerf gun with their name on it, along with protective eyewear.
“We will have some eyewear, but bringing your own is a good idea. I will also be supplying the Nerf darts for the event,” Swick added.
According to Swick, the idea for a Nerf War came about, when trying to figure out a fun activity for all kids to enjoy, that could be brought to the area.
“Some other surrounding areas have had similar events, so I figured we would give it a try,” commented Swick. “I’m looking forward to this event, and hopefully seeing some new faces.”
