THCC strives to symbolize care, compassion and community

GRAFTON—Taylor Health Care Center is striving to be synonymous with care, compassion and community.

Recently, the employees at Taylor Health Care Center voted for the favorite slogan for their community board that is located in the front lobby.

Out of 12 choices, the employees voted, and the slogan Care, Compassion and Community, hangs proudly on the board.

Around the slogan the staff hung various newspaper articles and pictures from community events. From donations to the volunteers being honored for all of their hard work and dedication, the board reflects the slogan.

Taylor County Health Care Center Executive Director Phillip Donnelly shared that they wanted to display all of the great things they have done, and he thought the board would be a great way to do it.

“Here at Taylor Health Care Center we take pride in the community and providing our patients with the best care possible,” he expressed.

Activity Director Joyce Moore shared that she thought the board was a wonderful idea to display all of the great things the center has done to help the community.

Recently, the nursing home has helped various organizations in the county with donations.

From the Boy Scouts to the International Mother’s Day Shrine the nursing home is helping to make an impact in the community.

Donnelly shared that the donations were made possible through the American Medical Facilities Management (AMFM) Charitable Foundation.

Every year, the foundation provides money to AMFM’s 18 skilled nursing centers to help enrich community organizations and charities.

Donnelly shared that the donations is just a small way to thank the originations for all that they do for the community and the facility.
