KNOTTSVILLE—The Taylor County Soccer Association is excited to announce that they will be hosting the Valley Soccer Academy for a special summer camp.
The Grafton World Cup camp will be taking over McCauley Fields beginning on Monday, July 19 and will boast learning experiences for those working to perfect their foot work on the field, as well as provide participants with the opportunity to make life-long memories while practicing a sport that they love.
The four-day camp will feature a different theme and area of focus each day including a “wear your favorite team jersey” day to add some flare and fun to the camp, while throughout the week camp-goers will work on dribbling, passing, shooting, receiving and goalkeeping.
The World Cup Camp will also offer picture day for those who attend, along with fun games like capture the flag.
And like the name states, the event will end with a five-on-five World Cup contest.
The camp will take place from 5:00-8:00 p.m., over the course of four days: July 19-21.
The event is open to both boys and girls, ages six to 12, and if you act fast, registration will come at a discount.
An early bird special of $75 is being offered to those who register on or before July 9. After that date the cost of the camp increases to $90 per participant.
So, be sure to register today for some soccer fun.
