GRAFTON—The Taylor County Middle School football Knights hosted the Braves of Bridgeport Middle school two weeks ago at McKinney Field.
The Knights were held to eleven yards total offense as they went on to fall to the Braves 43—0.
Kenny Humphries led the Knights in rushing, as he had five carries for seven yards.
The remaining rushing yards came from Aaron Barker (12-5), Cole Mooney (4-2), Bryson Bish (1-1) and Charles Hoskins (1-(-14)).
Mooney was 2 of 3 in the air for the Knights for a total of 10 yards and one interception.
Alex Hess was the top receiver with one catch for eight yards, which turned out to be the longest gain on the day for TCMS.
Humphries caught the other pass for TCMS for two yards.
Humphries also led the defense with five tackles, followed by Chase Bucklew with four.
The Knights will be back in action on Wednesday night as they travel to Shinnston to take on Lincoln Middle School.
The game will kick off at 6:30 p.m.
