TAYLOR COUNTY—Fall is almost here, and the Taylor County Arts Council (TCAC) is welcoming in the month with a cute and crafty class.
Join the TCAC at Gallery 62 West for a spin on pumpkin carving this autumn, as they welcome creatives to mold their own charming gourds from clay.
“After two, two-hour sessions, you will take home a handmade ceramic pumpkin,” revealed a TCAC member.
The first session will meet today at 6:30 p.m., where individuals will gather to sculpt their pumpkins.
Once the clay has had time to sit and cure, the fun of bringing the delightful creation to life occurs during the council’s second class on Wednesday, October 5, when artists are invited back to paint their pumpkins.
The TCAC is offering this fun way for folks to get creative for just $40, which includes all the supplies needed.
