Taylor County reports 8 additional new confirmed cases of COVID-19 today

County case totals now at 261 total, not including 31 probable cases, 47 Active, 205 Recovered, & 9 Deaths

November 25, 2020 - GRAFTON, WV), Doctor David Bender, County Health Officer today announced that the Grafton-Taylor County Health Department has confirmed Taylor County’s 254th through 261rst new positive cases of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) involving Taylor County residents.

Patients are adults and minors.

Epidemiological investigation to include contact tracing is currently underway.

This brings Taylor County to a total of 47 active Covid-19 cases with more entering the recovered list today.

 We remind everyone that we are conducting FREE daily community testing at our mobile drive-thru site at the First Baptist Church of Grafton on US Rt 119, Monday thru Friday from noon to 2pm (Thanksgiving week we will only be testing on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday).

To prevent the spread of COVID-19, everyone is urged to follow best health practices as issued by the Governor’s Executive Orders and outlined by the WV Department of Health and Human Resources (DHHR).
