Taylor County reports 7 confirmed cases of COVID-19 and 29 added to Recovered – bringing the total count to 771

County case totals now at 34 active, 717 recovered, & 20 deaths, not including 184 probable cases

February 8, 2021 - GRAFTON, WV - Doctor David Bender, County Health Officer today announced the Grafton-Taylor County Health Department has confirmed Taylor County’s 765th thru 771st new positive cases of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) involving Taylor County residents.

Patients are adults and minors. Epidemiological investigation to include contact tracing is currently underway.

This brings Taylor County to a total of 34 active Covid-19 cases, as 29 were moved to the recovered category.

We remind everyone that we are conducting FREE daily community testing at our mobile drive-thru site on US Rt 119 in the parking lot of the First Baptist Church of Grafton Monday, Tuesday, and Friday, noon to 2pm. (DO NOT CALL THE CHURCH FOR ANY TESTING INFO. Questions should be directed to us at 304-265-1288)
