Taylor County reports 4 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 today, bringing the total count to 197 – (18 probable) 25 Active, 164 Recovered, & 8 Deaths

(November 13, 2020 - GRAFTON, WV), Doctor David Bender, County Health Officer today announced that the Grafton-Taylor County Health Department has confirmed four new positive cases of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) involving Taylor County residents. Patients are adults. Epidemiological investigation to include contact tracing is currently underway. This brings Taylor County to a total of 25 active Covid-19 cases, as several entered the recovered category today. One previously announced case was deemed to no be a Taylor County resident, so these new 4 cases bring our cumulative total to 197.
We remind everyone that we are conducting FREE daily community testing at our mobile drive-thru site at the First Baptist Church of Grafton on US Rt 119, Monday thru Friday from noon to 2pm, with Flu Shots available upon request.
To prevent the spread of COVID-19, everyone is urged to follow best health practices as issued by the Governor’s Executive Orders and outlined by the WV Department of Health and Human Resources (DHHR).
