Taylor County reports 2 confirmed cases of COVID-19 – bringing the total count to 457

County case totals now at 59 Active, 386 Recovered & 12 Deaths, not including 80 probable cases

(December 22, 2020 - GRAFTON, WV), Doctor David Bender, County Health Officer today announced that the Grafton-Taylor County Health Department has confirmed Taylor County’s 456th and 457th new positive cases of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) involving Taylor County residents from yesterday and today.

Patients are adults and minors. Epidemiological investigation to include contact tracing is currently underway.

This brings Taylor County to a total of 59 active Covid-19 cases, as several have also entered the recovered category.
We remind everyone that we are conducting FREE daily community testing at our mobile drive-thru site at the First Baptist Church of Grafton on US Rt 119 – THIS WEEK WE WILL ONLY BE TESTING MONDAY December 21ST AND TUESDAY December 22nd.
To prevent the spread of COVID -19, everyone is urged to follow best health practices as issued by the Governor’s Executive Orders and outlined by the WV Department of Health and Human Resources (DHHR).
