Taylor County reports 2 additional new confirmed cases of COVID-19 today, bringing the total count to 211

County case totals are now 23 probable, 30 Active, 173 Recovered, & 8 Deaths

(November 18, 2020 - GRAFTON, WV), Doctor David Bender, County Health Officer today announced that the Grafton-Taylor County Health Department has confirmed Taylor County’s 210th and 211th new positive cases of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) involving Taylor County residents. Patients are adults. Epidemiological investigation to include contact tracing is currently underway. This brings Taylor County to a total of 30 active Covid-19 cases, 2 entered the recovered category today.
We remind everyone that we are conducting FREE daily community testing at our mobile drive-thru site at the First Baptist Church of Grafton on US Rt 119, Monday thru Friday from noon to 2pm (Thanksgiving week we will only be testing on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday).
To prevent the spread of COVID-19, everyone is urged to follow best health practices as issued by the Governor’s Executive Orders and outlined by the WV Department of Health and Human Resources (DHHR).
