Taylor County reports 13 confirmed cases of COVID-19 – bringing the total count to 470, outbreak declared at Little Feet Daycare and Preschool

County case totals now 66 Active, 391 Recovered, & 13 Deaths, not including 82 probable cases

December 23, 2020 - GRAFTON, WV), Doctor David Bender, County Health Officer today announced that the Grafton-Taylor County Health Department has confirmed Taylor County’s 458th thru 470th new positive cases of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) involving Taylor County residents.

Patients are adults and minors. Epidemiological investigation to include contact tracing is currently underway.

This brings Taylor County to a total of 59 active Covid-19 cases, as several have also entered the recovered category.
Some of these new cases involve an outbreak at Little Feet Daycare in Grafton (isolated to staff only at this time).
We remind everyone that we are conducting FREE daily community testing at our mobile drive-thru site on US Rt 119 in the parking lot of the First Baptist Church of Grafton (DO NOT CALL THE CHURCH FOR ANY TESTING INFO. Questions should be directed to us at 304-265-1288) – WE ARE NOT TESTING ANYMORE THIS WEEK. NEXT WEEK WE WILL ONLY BE TESTING MONDAY, the 28th AND TUESDAY, the 29th.
