Taylor County Grand Jury indicts 37


TAYLOR COUNTY—The Taylor County Grand Jury indicted 37 individuals when it convened on Monday for its September term.
During the examinations, cases were heard concerning many different charges, including that of David P. Davis, Jr., age and address unknown, who was indicted for distribution and display to minor of obscene matter, and 33-year-old Kenneth Johnson who was charged with two counts of failure to register as a sex offender.
Victoria Chappell, 29, of Lexington, VA was indicted for one count of malicious assault, and John Henry Byrne, Jr., 59, of Grafton was charged with two counts of wanton endangerment.
Antonio Chappell, 50, who is currently residing in the Tygart Valley Regional Jail, was indicted for possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and persons prohibited from carrying a concealed weapon.
Michael Whitehair, 48, of Shinnston, was indicted for possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and conspiracy.
Teresa M. Jones, 43, of Shinnston, was also charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and conspiracy.
Eric S. Knotts, 48, of Grafton was charged with possession of Fentanyl, a controlled substance, burglary and grand larceny.
20-year-old Jacob E. Bolton, of Grafton, was indicted on grand larceny and conspiracy charges, as well as Morgan Wilgis, 26, of Grafton, who was charged with one count of grand larceny and one count of conspiracy.
Aaron Shayne Simpson, 31, who is currently being house in the Tygart Valley Regional Jail, was charged with breaking and entering and grand larceny.
Holden Williams, age and address unknown, was charged with daytime burglary and grand larceny, while 27-year-old Anthony T. Faukiner, of Morgantown, was indicted for burglary.
Jeffrey McCloy, II, 32, of Grafton, was charged with one count of attempted grand larceny.
Christopher E. Sylva, 44, of Grafton was charged with five counts of breaking and entering.
Additionally, Misty S. Stanton, 34, of Grafton, was indicted for breaking and entering and conspiracy.
Robin Lynn Knapp, 32, was also charged with for breaking and entering and conspiracy, as well as 30-year-old Zachary Clayton Knapp.
William J. Ward, 50, of Grafton and Michael Wilfong, 35, address unknown, were both indicted by the grand jury for breaking and entering.
Darrick Arbogast, 43, was charged with fraudulent schemes, while Daniel James Mooney, 45, of Flemington was indicted for fraudulent use of an access device.
Additionally, Gerald L. Williams was indicted for failure to appear.
Finally, Brittany Cottrill, 26, of Parkersburg, WV; Zachary Hott, 24, of Grafton; Jared L. Loughrie, 36, of Tunnelton; Ryan L. Roberts, 29, Waynesburg, PA; Cary Wilson, 50, of Grafton; James Cain, 35, of Grafton; Kaitlin M. Burton, 23, address unknown; Michael Lohr, 44, whereabout unknown; Bryan Johnson, 26, of Grafton; Robin L. Mercer, 49, of Flemington; John E. Simpson, III, 36, of the Tygart Valley Regional Jail; Candy Nelson, 33, address unknown; Edward Jacob Grinnan, 21, of the Tygart Valley Regional Jail; and Nicholas Jachelski, 43, of the Tygart Valley Regional Jail were all charged by the grand jury with felony escape.
