Taylor County Community Funds to meet in Grafton

GRAFTON—The Taylor County Community Funds, a part of Your Community Foundation of North Central WV, will meet June 5 at 6:30 PM at the Grafton City Building.

The mission of TCCF is to provide the citizens of Taylor County with a way to establish permanently endowed funds to support the cultural, social, educational and economic needs within the county.

As of today, one fund has been established.  It is an unrestricted fund which can distribute money to

501(c)3 organizations in the county.  TCCF distributed its seventh round of grants in 2018.  Three grants of $315 each were awarded.  Receiving the grants were the FUMC Backpack Program, Bailey Memorial UMC Backpack Programs of Rosemont and the Taylor County Family Resource Network .   Previous grants have been awarded to the 4-H, Girl Scouts, Blueville Church of Christ Food Pantry, Boy Scouts, Bailey Memorial UMC Backpack Program, FUMC Backpack Program and Grafton City Hospital Auxiliary.  $3,945 has been awarded since the fund was established.
