Sandra Kay “Sandy” Leary, 56, of Flemington, WV, passed away on Sunday, March 11, 2018 at home with her family by her side after a lengthy illness.
She was born November 7, 1961 a daughter of Shirley McCloy of Flemington and the late Bernard McCloy. Sandy is survived by her husband, Robert Lee “Rob” Leary.
In addition to her husband, Sandy is survived by one son, Jamie L. McCloy and fiancé Adrianne of Spelter, one daughter, Savannah K. Leary and companion Montell of Bridgeport; four siblings: Bernard “Buddy” McCloy and wife Nancy of Anmoore, Linda Reed of Flemington, Sherry Bartlett of Flemington, and Randy McCloy of Rosemont; seven grandchildren: Tanner, Quinten, Cassie, Lacy, Logan, Arie, and Samantha; and a special cousin Sheila Smith who helped care for her during her illness. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, and friends.
In addition to her father, Sandra was preceded in death by a child in infancy, Samantha Leary, and a sister Sharon Jones.
Sandy worked in housekeeping at the Hampton Inn in Bridgeport. She was a member of the Flemington Assembly of God Church. Sandy loved working in her flower garden, going to yard sales, and spending time with her family.
Family and friends will be received at the Bradley J. Mayle Funeral Home in Flemington, WV on Wednesday, March 14, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home on Thursday, March 15, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Charles Jeffries presiding. Interment will follow at the WV National Cemetery in Pruntytown. The Bradley J. Mayle Funeral Home is honored to serve the Leary Family during this time.
