Ruby Mabel Gray, 90, of Cleveland, OH, formerly of Thornton, WV, passed away on Monday, January 22, 2018, at Ames Hospice House in West Lake, OH.
She was born December 2, 1927, in Thornton, WV, daughter of the late Dayton Isaac and Iva May Poling.
Ruby was Christian by faith. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, gardening and flowers. She loved shopping with her sister. She is survived by six children, Larry Poling, Cleveland, OH, Linda Bramer, Bridgeport, WV, Gene Gray, Grafton, James Gray and wife Rhonda, Petersburg, WV, Mary Stadnik and husband Tommy, Medina, OH; Bonnie Terry and husband Clint, North Ridgeville, OH; fifteen grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild; one sister, Alberta Wilfong, Fairmont.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Robert Gray; one daughter, Frances McMannus; seven brothers, Howard, Roy, Floyd, Junior, Carl, Russell, Benny Poling; one sister, Goldie Masters.
Family and friends may call at Bartlett Funeral Home 202 McGraw Ave. Grafton, on Thursday, January 25, 2018, from 4:00-8:00 p.m., and on Friday, January 26, 2018, from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m., with Pastor Jimmy Johnson officiating.
Interment will follow at Payne Cemetery.
