Rosetta “Rose” Marie DuVall, 76, of Grandville, formerly of Grafton, passed away on Thursday, July 6, 2017, at her daughter’s residence, with her family by her side.
She was born in Grafton, January 19, 1941, daughter of the late
Rosetta attended Grafton Wesleyan Holiness Church. She loved collecting Knick knacks, owls, frogs, and Elvis memorabilia. She enjoyed baking and cooking and spending time with the family.
She is survived by two children, Frances M. Kreeger and husband Michael, Morgantown, Christine E. Carlyle, Shinnston; one-daughter-in –law, Jean Carlyle, Grafton; six grandchildren, Misty Metz, Melissa Mills and husband Doug, Aimee McIe, Nick Carlyle, Timothy McIe, Chelsey Carlyle; nine great-grandchildren, Logan, Mitchell, Shayla, Chantel, Mason, Colby, Landon, Kolt, Leilah; two sisters, Ruth Smith and Phyllis Tate both of Grafton; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Kenneth R. “Ronnie” Carlyle; one grandson, Brannon Carlyle; four brothers, Mutt, Jim, Junior and Paul Duvall; one sister, Marge Mauller.
Rosetta’s wishes were to be cremated, with a celebration of life service at a later date.
