Robert Lee Morris, 71, of Maple Avenue, passed away on May 21, 2019, after a battle with cancer.
He was born in Grafton on April 13, 1948, to Charles “Bud” Morris and Cleda Barcus Morris.
During his battle with cancer, Robert spent time in the VA hospital off and on and donated his body to the Human Gift Registry.
Robert is survived by his son, daughter, two grandsons, all living in Grafton, and two granddaughters. He is also survived by a daughter-in-law and niece by his deceased brother, Charles Morris, Jr. Surviving are also Robert’s brothers, Jim and Ken and a special friend, Ray Strader, who has lived with the family for 30 years.
After graduation, Robert joined the United States Army, alongside his brother Charles. Robert was stationed in Germany, and Charles served in Vietnam.
Robert loved to fish, hunt and camp. He is greatly missed by his mother, family and friends.
