TAYLOR COUNTY—Jennings Barnett returns to Tygart Lake State Park on Saturday, November 17, for “Red Skelton: Remembering a Legend.”
Barnett will perform some of Red’s most famous routines and characters and impart his special message as we head into the Holiday season. It will be an evening full of fun, popcorn, laughs and memories.
The show is family friendly and welcomes all ages to remember the golden age of comedy.
The Tygart Lake State Park Lodge encourages the public to come out and enjoy as Barnett pays tribute to comedy legend Red Skelton.
During the performance attendees will experience many of Red’s iconic characters, such as, Gertrude and Heathcliff, Clem Kadiddlehopper, Junior the Mean Widdle Kid, and Willy Lump Lump...just to name a few.
“Red” will also perform some of his most-requested pantomimes, like “Guzzler’s Gin”, “The Little Old Man Playing Golf”, and “Grandpa Taking Junior for a Walk in the Park”.
As always, the show will close with Mr. Skelton’s Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag.
Tickets are $24.95 per person and the show begins at 7:00 p.m. at Tygart Lake Lodge.
