Paving work to cause traffic delay in Rosemont area


TAYLOR COUNTY—The West Virginia Department of Transportation Division of Highways has announced a road repair project that will impact travel for motorists.

The Division of Highways has reported a traffic delay on County Route 

13/14, Rosemont School Road, from the junction of WV 76, Veterans Highway, at mile point 0.00, to the junction of WV 76, Veterans Highway, at mile point 0.95. 

The delay will occur between 7:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m., beginning Wednesday, September 28 and continuing until Wednesday, October 5.

The cause of the delay is for paving and traffic will be affected during daytime operations only.

One lane two-way traffic will be maintained with flaggers.

Motorists are cautioned to expect delays during the duration of the project and are urged to plan ahead and allow additional time for their commute.

The Department of Transportation would also like to remind drivers that inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances could alter the project schedule.
