GRAFTON— The Grafton Rotary Club will be hosting their Twelfth Annual Rotary Club Buckwheat and Pancake Dinner on Friday March 17 and Saturday March 18, from 4:00-8:00 p.m., at the Church of the Good Shepard.
Members of the club would like to invite the community to join them for “all you can eat” homemade buckwheat cakes or pancakes, along with sausage and homemade sausage gravy. Coffee and tea will be offered, as well.
Tickets are $8 for an adult and $3 for children under 12. Tickets may be purchased in advance, from any member of the club, or at the door.
“We really enjoy holding this dinner. We always have a great turnout and a great time,” commented Rotary President Boyd Vanhorn.
According to Rotarian Lorraine Isner, all donations and funds raised will go toward the support of the 34th Honor Graduate Banquet, and educational programs for Taylor County Students.

In addition, the club has recently received 105 cases of jellybeans. Each case weighing in at around 30 pounds, for a whopping total of approximately 3,150 pounds of jellybeans.
The Grafton Rotary Club members will be selling the jellybeans from now, up until the Easter holiday.
Members of the club have dedicated a large amount of their time to bag and label the jellybeans.
According to Rotary Treasurer Arnold Kuhl, the cost of an estimated one-pound bag of jellybeans is $3, and they are offered in, fruit, spice and cinnamon flavors.
“The funds raised from the sales will go toward all of the services the Rotary Club provides,” shared Kuhl.
