Outbreak count increases to 33 total, as Taylor County has 87th confirmed case of COVID-19


Brings county totals to 37 active, 49 recovered and 1 death

TAYLOR COUNTY--Doctor David Bender, County Health Officer today, Wednesday, August 19, announced that the Grafton-Taylor County Health Department has confirmed Taylor County’s 87th positive case of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) involving a Taylor County resident.

The patient, who is in their 40’s, is a staff member at Rosewood Genesis Nursing Facility and is currently in isolation at their home.

Epidemiological investigation to include contact tracing is currently underway.

The Rosewood outbreak county is now at 33 (25 residents and 8 staff). This brings Taylor County to a total of 37 active Covid-19 cases.
