Oldaker to round out First Baptist Summer Worship Series on Sunday

GRAFTON—Earlier this summer, the folks at the First Baptist Church in Grafton came up with an exciting summer series that showcases a vast array of talent. After a successful season, the worship series will soon be coming to an end.

And because most Christians believe it is their duty to bring others to Christ, the church decided to call their event the Invite-A-Friend Summer Sunday Evening Worship series.

To round out the summer of evenings of worship, Josh Oldaker will present a lineup of songs that are sure to help move the Holy Spirit, on Sunday, September 18.

Oldaker, who hails from the hills of West Virginia, has set his sights on spreading God’s word through his well-rounded country-gospel music repertoire. And with a high-energy performance and God-given talent, he has been able to do just that.

What started out as garage performances for friends and family at the ripe age of four has turned into a show that would help Oldaker share his love of the Lord with fans across the country.

With a dedication and devotion to his worship, Oldaker was able to secure a national tour titled Heal Me in the winter of 2009, taking him to 47 of the nation’s 50 states.

And without a big record label, a booking agent or a major sponsor, the performer relied solely on his faith in God that it would be possible and ended up with an experience that changed his life forever.

The country-gospel artist has compiled five albums, including his brand-new work titled Country Revival, a collection of country gospel music at its best.

His albums can be ordered via his website, josholdaker.com, and through iTunes and Amazon, and his music can be found on YouTube.

“If you enjoy good old-fashioned fun and yearn for the memories of your favorite hymns, this will be a performance you’re sure to treasure,” boasts his website.

This final worship service will be held at the First Baptist Church, located on Route 119 South just outside of Grafton, at 2034 Webster Pike, beginning at 6:00 p.m.
