Nursing home outbreak increases to five (5) total (2 staff & 3 residents) with Taylor County’s 60th confirmed case of COVID-19


County COVID totals: 13 Active, 46 Recovered, 1 Death

TAYLOR COUNTY--Today, Thursday, August 13, Doctor David Bender, County Health Officer, announced that the Grafton-Taylor County Health Department has confirmed Taylor County’s 60th positive case of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) involving a Taylor County resident.

The patient, who is in their seventies (70’s) is currently in isolation at Rosewood Nursing Home.

This brings that outbreak count to a total of five (5), with 2 staff and 3 residents testing positive.

A second round of facility-wide testing of all staff and residents was completed today and will continue to be tested weekly until all staff and residents test negative.

This brings Taylor County to a total of thirteen (13) active Covid-19 cases.
