New business in Taylor County offering something for everyone


TAYLOR COUNTY—Are you a bargain shopper? Always looking for the best deals around? If so, there is a new business open in Grafton where you can find some of the best bargains around.

About six weeks ago Haddix’s Bargain Barn open its doors for business under new ownership.  The business is family owned and operated by Janet, Jimmy, Austin and Mackenzie Haddix.

At the Bargain Barn you can find tools, housewares, toys, appliances, primitive items, wax melts and a little bit of everything.

“You’ll never know what you will find when you come in,” shared Janet. “We are always getting in new merchandise and have a wide variety of items.”

She explained that most of the items are new or refurbished at discounted prices and the inventory is always changing.

“We have something for everyone,” she added. “We just got luggage in if you are planning on taking a vacation soon.”

In addition to all of the great items Janet also shared that she can do custom orders for mugs, t-shirts and decals upon request and they can also do gift baskets for holidays or occasions.

“We would like to get community feedback and suggestions for items that they would like to see,” she commented. “We have a lot of great ideas and look forward to trying some new things in the upcoming months.”

Janet revealed that after the weather warms up, they will also be offering tanning at the location.

So, if you are looking for a bargain then head out to Haddix’s Bargain Barn located at 3030 Webster Pike Monday through Saturday 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and on Sundays noon to 5:00 p.m.
