Multiple patients transported after collision in Blueville intersection

GRAFTON—A two car collision, that occurred over the weekend, sent multiple patients to the hospital.
On Sunday afternoon shortly after 6:30 p.m., the Grafton Police Department was alerted to a vehicle accident at the intersection of US Route 50, North Pike Street, and US Route 119, Victory Avenue.
According to the Harrison-Taylor County 911 Dispatcher, there were two vehicles involved in the accident, and it was reported that there were numerous patients seeking medical attention.
In addition to the police department, the Grafton Fire Department and Taylor County Emergency Squad, as well as the Flemington Emergency Squad responded to the scene.
According to Patrolman Cosby, a witness revealed that a red Ford car was traveling westbound on Route 50, while a blue sedan was traveling south on Route 119, when they collided in the intersection.
The cause of the accident was not immediately known.
Both drivers were transported to Grafton City Hospital, along with two other passengers, with unknown injuries.
Cosby said that the accident was still under investigation, and it was unclear who was the at-fault driver. He further revealed that no one had yet been cited in the accident.
