Middle school XC runners challenged to run 100 miles

PRUNTYTOWN— The Taylor County Middle School Cross Country coaching staff is challenging in coming Knights to run 100 miles this summer.

As a way to motivate potential team members to get in shape and start training for the 2021 season, coaches Karey Maier and Autumn Young are working to inspire the XC Knights with a challenge of running a total of 100 miles by August 2.

Each participant should keep a record of the number of miles ran each day throughout the summer, and those totaling 100 will receive a prize.

“What better way to get ready for a great season,” Maier noted. “Dust off those running shoes and join the challenge!”
