Mary Virginia “Jenny” Strader, 80, left this earth on October 28, 2018, at Grafton City Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on January 24, 1938, in Preston County to Clarence and Ester Bolyard.
Jenny retired from Sterling Faucet. She was co-owner and operator of The White Front Tavern from 1979 to 1993.
She was proceeded in death by her parents; one sister, Diana Lake; three brothers-in-law; and three sisters-in-law.
She is survived by her son David Strader (Teresa), of Thornton; grandsons Joe Strader (Tara), of Sistersville, and Brayden Strader, of Thornton; sisters Margie Shahan, of Ohio, and Ruby Hovatter-Reid, of Mississippi; brothers Ralph and Charles, of Grafton, and Carroll, of Flemington; a special nephew and caregiver Darrell “Greg” Lake; a great-nephew Zachary Lake; several nieces and nephews; and great-nieces and great-nephews.
Jenny donate her body to the WVU Human Gift Registry, so a memorial service will be held at the First Grace Brethren Church in Grafton, on Friday, November 9, 2018, from 5:00-8:00 p.m.
