Mary Jane Henline, 58, of Elkins, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, May 23, 2017, at Ruby Memorial Hospital, with family by her side.
She was born May 8, 1959, at Grafton City Hospital, daughter of the late, Dorwood Sr. and Barbara Ashby Keener.
Mary is survived by her husband of twenty-one years, Russell Eugene Henline; two sons: James Craig Tingler and wife Alicia of Arthurdale, and Steve Patrick Tingler and Amanda Shears of Grafton; one grandchild: McKinleigh Brooke Tingler; three brothers: Russell Keener and wife Roxanne of Arden, Charles Keener of Grafton, and Jeff Keener of Dayton, OH; seven sisters: Deloris Phillips of Philippi, Sarah Reed and husband Kenneth of Simpson, Ruth Murphy of Philippi, Charlotte Keener of Grafton, Sandra Grow of Belington, Catherine Barnes and husband Gregory of Baltimore, MD, Carla Keener of Grafton; grandmother-in-law: Edna Strader of Elkins; numerous nieces, nephews, and her four toy poodles: Ladybug, Pink, Minnie, and Dora.
In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by brother, Dorwood Keener, Jr.; sister, Deborah Exline; and niece, Jessica Barnes.
Mary had attended Grafton High School and worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant before her retirement. She loved spending quality time with her granddaughter – who made her life brighter, her poodles, and sharing holidays with her family. She loved her flower gardens and fruit trees, and motorcycle riding with Russell. She had a deep love of life and of God.
Friends were invited to Mary’s Celebration of Life from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m., on Saturday, May 27, 2017, at Woodford Memorial United Methodist Church in Elkins, WV with Rev. Jasper officiating.
