Lines downed in Blueville, Thursday


GRAFTON—On Thursday, at approximately 1:47 p.m., the Grafton Fire Department was toned out to Lincoln Street for a lines down call.

According to reports, a garbage truck was caught in lines and caused damage to the pole behind KFC, causing a power outage in the area for homes and businesses.

At press time, according to Mon Power’s website there were 63 customers in the area without power, with an estimated time of restoration of 7:00 p.m.

Members of the Grafton Police department also reported to the scene.
