Lawrence Lee “Larry” Boyce, Jr., 82, of Thornton, passed away on Sunday, August 2, 2020, with his family by his side.
He was born in Grafton, February 26, 1938, son of the late Lawrence Lee and Leota Marie Rosier Boyce, Sr.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Louise Martin Boyce.
Larry retired from the Ford Motor Company in Lorain, Ohio. He enjoyed the being on his Lucky 7 Farm and watching the livestock in the fields, loved to hand feed the deer, He loved being outdoors and spent any opportunity he found to hunt and fish. His most precious past time was telling stories, and spending time making memories with his family, especially his grandchildren and friends.
Larry is survived by four children:, Linda Clelland (Mike), Grafton, Richard L. Boyce, (Terri), Philippi, Brenda Epperley, Thornton, Donna Boyce, (James), Grafton; seven grandchildren: Mackenzie (Ashli), Mitchell, Brett, Brittany (Josh), Danielle, Benjamin (Kati), Belinda(Frank); fifteen great grandchildren; companion, Patty Boyce; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by one sister, Betty Heinzman.
Friends may call at Bartlett Funeral Home, 202 McGraw Ave., Grafton, on Wednesday, August 5, 2020 from 4:00-8:00 p.m., with proper distancing and face mask preferred and on Thursday, August 6, 2020, from 9:00 a.m. to the funeral hour at 11:00 a.m., with Rev. Jimmy Johnson officiating.
Interment will follow at Woodsdale Memorial Park.
