Kenneth Roy Willis, 79, of Nutter Fort, passed away Sunday December 27, 2020 at United Hospital Center.
He was born January 4, 1941 in Grafton, son of the late Paul J. and Wilda Cook Willis and stepmother Eva Willis. He is preceded in death by his wife Terri Willis.
Kenneth was a graduate of Grafton High School. He served his country in the United States Army. He worked as a salesman and retired from Builders Service Center in Grafton. Kenneth enjoyed watching sports and was an avid WV Mountaineer Fan and Indianapolis Colts Fan. He was a member of the American Legion. He loved spending time with family and friends.
Kenneth is survived by his daughter, Michele “Mitzi” Hershman and husband George Scott, Grafton; his son, Kenneth Scott Willis and wife Kelly, Grafton; two step children, Melissa Lamp, and fiancé Larry Smith, Clarksburg, Denise Duncan and husband Aaron, Clarksburg; three sisters, Judith Mosco, Grafton; Sylvia Gerkin and husband Phil, OH, Janet Rosic and husband Charlie, Grant Town, WV; two brothers, Robert “Bob” Willis and wife Sue, SC, Michael Willis and wife Becky, Grafton; John Willis and wife Karen, Grafton; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In addition to his parents and wife he is preceded in death by his brothers, Paul “Skook” Willis, and Donald Willis; an infant brother, James Willis.
A graveside service will be held at a later date at the WV National Cemetery.
