James William Ware, 71, of North East, MD, formerly of Grafton passed away on Thursday, November 9, from a massive stroke. He was the son of Bill and Helen Ware.
Jim was a graduate of Grafton High School, class of 1963, and Fairmont State University, Class of 1968. He spent his career years teaching elementary school in Cecil County, MD. He enjoyed hunting, woodworking, traveling, and playing with his grandchildren, the pride and joy of his life.
He was an active member and long- time trustee of Shelemiah United Methodist Church in Bay View, MD.
Survivors include his wife: Karen Currey Ware, with whom he just celebrated fifty years of marriage; a son: Shawn and wife Stacey; and his beloved grandchildren: Emmerson Logan, Kennason Taylor, and Harrison Scott all of Cochranville, PA; and a sister-in-law: Kay Ware of GA.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother: Richard.
Visitation will be held at Crouch Funeral Home, 127 S. Main St., North East, MD on Friday, November 17, 2017 from 6 pm until 8 pm and again on Saturday, November 18 at 10 am. Funeral services will be held at 11 am.
Burial will follow in the Bay View Cemetery.
